WiringInstallers Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how WiringInstallers collects, uses, and shares information when you visit wiringinstallers.com, claim a directory listing, contact us, or receive an email from us. WiringInstallers is a trade name of Beckmere LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company. If anything here is unclear or you want to exercise a privacy right, email [email protected].

| Office | 2210 Springdale Drive, Franklin, TN 37064 |
| Phone | (615) 905-6018 |
| Privacy contact | [email protected] |

"We," "us," and "our" refer to Beckmere LLC operating the WiringInstallers brand. "You" means anyone visiting the site, claiming a listing, receiving an email from us, or interacting with the directory.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you give us directly
When you claim or update a listing on WiringInstallers, we collect what you submit, which typically includes:
- Business name and trade names
- Owner or contact name
- Business email address and phone number
- Business mailing address, city, state, ZIP code
- Service area and services offered (specialties, certifications, brand authorizations)
- Website URL and social profile links
- Business hours
- Logos, photos, and any descriptive copy you choose to upload
When you contact us through the contact form or by email, we collect the message itself, your email address, and any other information you choose to share.
When you submit a review (where supported), we collect the review text, your name or display name, and your email address for verification.
2.2 Information we collect from public sources
WiringInstallers is a directory. We build initial listings using business information that is publicly available, including:
- Business names, addresses, phone numbers, and websites published by businesses on their own sites or in public business records
- Public services, hours, and category information
- Geographic coordinates derived from public business addresses
This information describes the business as a commercial entity, not individuals in their personal capacity. We do not include personal home addresses or personal mobile numbers in unclaimed listings. If a public listing of your business contains information you do not want displayed, see Section 6 on the Right to Remove Your Listing.
2.3 Information collected automatically
When you visit the site, we collect a limited set of technical information:
- Pages visited, referring site, and session timing
- Browser type, device type, and operating system
- IP address and approximate geographic region derived from it
- A non-identifying anonymous visitor identifier used for analytics
We use Cloudflare for security, content delivery, and basic analytics, and we may use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for aggregated traffic analysis. We do not run third-party advertising trackers on the directory.
Essential cookies support core site functions (such as remembering your form progress when claiming a listing). Optional analytics cookies can be disabled in your browser. See Section 9 for more detail on cookies and tracking.
2.4 Information about your email engagement
If we send you an email, our email-delivery providers record limited information about how that email is handled, including:
- Whether the email was delivered, bounced, or marked as spam
- Whether the email was opened
- Which links in the email were clicked
- Whether you unsubscribed
- The content of any reply you send to that email
We use this information to operate the campaign, honor opt-out requests, suppress addresses that bounce, and improve future communications. This is standard commercial email practice, and we want to be transparent that opens and clicks are tracked.
2.5 Information we received from third parties
A portion of the business contacts in our outreach list was obtained when Beckmere LLC acquired the prospect and customer database of Platinum Tools in 2026. That database included business names, contact names, business email addresses, phone numbers, and addresses of companies that had previously interacted with Platinum Tools. We use this information solely to inform people that their business appears in the WiringInstallers directory and to invite them to claim or remove their listing. This data came directly from Platinum Tools, not from a third-party data broker.
If you would prefer that we delete your information acquired through that database, email [email protected] and we will remove it.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information described above to:
- Operate the WiringInstallers directory, including displaying claimed and unclaimed business listings
- Respond to claim requests and verify that the person claiming a listing is authorized to act on behalf of the business
- Communicate with you about your listing, including outreach inviting you to claim or correct it
- Send transactional emails such as claim confirmations and account notices
- Improve our services, including the accuracy and completeness of directory listings
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, scraping, and other misuse of the directory
- Comply with applicable laws, including responding to lawful requests from public authorities
We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell or "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law.
5. Privacy Rights for Residents of Specific States
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, including those of California (CCPA/CPRA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Virginia (CDPA), Utah (UCPA), Oregon (OCPA), Texas (TDPSA), Tennessee (TIPA), and others.
Subject to verification and applicable exemptions, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you, its sources, purposes, and recipients
- Access a portable copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Delete personal information we have collected from you
- Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (we do not engage in either)
- Opt out of targeted advertising (we do not engage in it)
- Limit use of sensitive personal information (we do not collect government IDs, financial account numbers, precise geolocation, or health data through this directory)
- Appeal a denied request, where applicable state law provides one
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy Request" and the right you wish to exercise. We will respond within the timeframe required by the applicable state law (generally 45 days, with one possible extension). We may need to verify your identity, typically by confirming you control the email address or business associated with the information.
You may also authorize an agent to submit a request on your behalf. Where state law permits, we may ask your agent for written authorization and verify the request with you directly. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
6. Right to Remove Your Listing
Separate from the state-law rights above, any business owner can ask to have their business removed from the WiringInstallers directory at any time, for any reason.
To request removal, email [email protected] with the subject line "Remove My Listing" and include the business name and URL of the listing. We will verify that you control the business (typically by email match to the business domain or a phone callback) and remove the listing within 7 business days, with a maximum of 30 days for complex cases.
Once a listing is removed, we add the business to a suppression list so we do not re-create it from public sources or send further outreach.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as needed to operate the directory and meet our legal obligations.
| Category | Retention period |
|---|---|
| Claimed listing information | While the listing is active, and for 24 months after the last update |
| Unclaimed listing information | Until removal is requested or the business closes |
| Email outreach contact list | 24 months from the last engagement, then purged |
| Email engagement events (opens, clicks, bounces) | 24 months from the date of the event |
| Suppression and opt-out records | Retained indefinitely so we honor your opt-out across future campaigns |
| Privacy request records | Two years after closing the request, as required by some state laws |
| Records required for tax, accounting, or legal compliance | Seven years, or longer if required by law |
If you ask us to delete your information, we will delete it from active systems and retain only the minimum needed for suppression and legal recordkeeping.
8. How We Protect Your Information
We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect personal information, including TLS encryption in transit, Cloudflare protection, password and access controls on our administrative systems, and least-privilege access for our team. Service providers are required to maintain comparable safeguards.
No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we ever experience a data security incident affecting your information, we will notify you as required by law.
9. Cookies and Tracking
WiringInstallers uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies:
- Essential cookies that support site operation, such as remembering form progress and session security
- Analytics cookies and pixels used by Cloudflare Web Analytics and, where deployed, Google Analytics 4 for aggregated traffic measurement
- Email tracking pixels and link wrapping used by our email provider to record opens and clicks, as described in Section 2.4
We do not use third-party advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or cross-site advertising trackers on the directory.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies may break some site features. Blocking analytics cookies does not change the directory experience.
We respect Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. If your browser sends a GPC header, we treat it as an opt-out signal for any sale or sharing of personal information.
10. Communications and Unsubscribe
If you no longer want emails from WiringInstallers, you can opt out three ways:
- Click the unsubscribe link in the footer of any email (one-click)
- Reply to the email with the word REMOVE or UNSUBSCRIBE
- Email [email protected]
Our outreach emails include a List-Unsubscribe header (RFC 8058) so Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, and similar clients can offer a built-in unsubscribe button.
We honor opt-outs within 10 business days, as required by federal law. In practice, opt-outs are typically processed within 24 hours and propagate across all Beckmere LLC brands.
Transactional emails such as claim confirmations are not promotional and are sent only as necessary to complete an action you initiated.
11. CAN-SPAM Compliance
Every commercial email we send identifies the sender, uses an accurate subject line, includes a working unsubscribe mechanism, and includes our physical postal address:
Beckmere LLC, 2210 Springdale Drive, Franklin, TN 37064
If you believe an email from us does not comply with the CAN-SPAM Act, email [email protected] and we will investigate and respond.
12. International Visitors
WiringInstallers is operated from the United States and intended for US-based businesses. If you access the site from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US, which may have different data protection rules than your home country.
We do not target the directory at, or knowingly send outreach to, recipients in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions with strict consent-based email rules. If you received an email from us in error, unsubscribe or email [email protected] and we will remove you.
13. Children
WiringInstallers is a business-to-business directory. It is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, email [email protected] and we will delete it.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. For material changes, we will provide additional notice, such as a site banner or an email to recently contacted business addresses. Continued use of the site or directory after a change indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
